Alison delivered a guest lecture in November at Queen’s University’s Faculty of Law.
Speaking from the intended parent perspective, she shared her journey with surrogacy and the challenges and resilience it required with 3rd year students in a reproductive law class.
On October 19 , I will be at Taylor Creek Park for the FM6K, an event organized by Fertility Matters Canada. The 6K distance represents the 1 in 6 Canadians who struggle to build their families , a number that reflects just how many of us are touched by this reality.
Through my book and through this event, I want to show that while the journey can be incredibly hard, there is also connection, hope, and a community that understands. I will be signing and selling copies of The Miles We Run at the event, with a portion of proceeds going toward supporting the FM6K .
